The M4A3 Sherman 75mm Metal Edition is available in either airsoft BB or infrared versions and is RTR out of the box. The 13040/13045 features a slightly weathered olive drab paint scheme. This Sherman tank comes with a new design for the lower chassis, which is now over 2mm thick with a one piece stamped lower hull. It also comes with a textured metal turret, metal gun barrel, metal hatches, metal VVSS suspension, metal idler wheels, LED headlights, metal road wheels with rubber tires, metal drive wheels, metal caterpillar tracks, steel gearboxes (Steel, 3:1, H/L, 48mm), and more! This tank also comes with our new 360 degree turret rotation system, accessory kit, 2000mAh NIMH battery and charger, dual LED machine guns, a smoke unit, speaker, recoil, Taigen’s newest V2 2.4 GHz transmitter and V3 motherboard, and an easy access hull latch for accessibility.

Since this model uses our V3 electronics you can also use your own 6 channel PWM capable hobby grade transmitter and receiver with this tank. Just follow the instructions in the manual on how to setup! Most brands are compatible, (Spektrum make sure you use a 5V receiver!). TBS Crossfire, FRSky, FlySky, Futaba, JR, etc have all be reported working perfect with minimal to no setup.

Control and functions

The powerful model has a 2.4 GHz remote control and receiver.It is equipped with the IR battle system, which enables interactive battles between vehicles of the same series.  The power motors with optimized torque give the M4A3(75)W Sherman a precise and smooth steering system. Metal gears with robust gears and an improved gear ratio provide higher power. The proportional control allows you to start the tank very slowly and increase the speed smoothly. The M4A3(75)W Sherman moves forwards and backwards, also with a left and a right turn. It can also be turned left or right on the spot. You can lift and lower the gun and rotate the turret 360 degrees (endless rotation). Various engine noises, gun recoil, flashes of light while firing, and smoke fumes from the mufflers round off the realistic experience.
